About me

Hi, I'm Nova! I'm an adjunct professor in Maryland, USA who draws in their spare time.I've been drawing (more seriously, at least) since middle school. In addition to taking art classes all four years of high school—including AP Studio Art—I was an active member of the National Art Honors Society, and regularly painted sets for my school's theatre club. In 2016, I was accepted into the pre-college summer program at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, and completed classes on professional illustration and graphic design. At the end of my senior year, I graduated with both a diploma and a 2-year certification in graphic and advertising design.I've also been both a page and merch artist in a few fanzines:

  • Payment is made upfront via Paypal invoice after the request is accepted.

  • I retain the rights to my artwork, and am free to use it however I see fit (posts, merch, portfolio, etc.)

  • I have the right to refuse a commission request for any reason.

  • Turnaround time is dependent on my own schedule as well as the intricacy of the request.

Do you take requests?

No, unless I explicitly say otherwise. Alas I have a full-time job, and rarely have the time or energy to even draw the things I want to :’)

Do you sell prints?

Can I use your art to train AI?

No; I own the copyright to all of my art posted on social media and portfolio websites, and therefore do not consent to any company or individual using them to train generative AI platforms.
